Description
This twist on traditional math word problems integrates reading and fluency skills with math skills in a fun, cooperative way. Students can act out the word problems that are in each script and they must decide on the number sentences or equations that express each problem. They can also write their own word problem based on the script that summarizes all the math action. Great for whole group, small group, or tutoring groups. Have some math manipulatives on hand such as play money and colored cubes or chips to help students act out the script.
