Description

This packet includes two sets of word problems that will provide practice and reinforcement in the use decimals in solving real-life, high-interest math word problems. Math operations utilized with this problems include multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition. Multi-step problems are included. All are written in selected response/multiple choice format, which provides practice for standardized testing. Some of these problems will be challenging for some students, but they are closely aligned with fifth grade standards used in most schools. These sheets could also be used as reinforcement, review, or intervention practice for students in grades 6 though 8 or as enrichment/challenge for fourth graders with strong math skills.
