This real life application will help your students practice finding prices after taxes, tips, and discounts. Transform your classroom into a restaurant with these easy to follow guidelines, menu, and student worksheets. Invite younger students to visit and be your customers (they will have the opportunity to practice adding decimals and making change). My students LOVE becoming waiters/waitresses in the "Math Muchies Cafe" and will have a better understanding of the never ending question of: "How will we ever use THIS?"!
