Description

Make reviewing math facts fun and engaging with this fun Time For Math Project!

This Math Clock will have your students thinking about math facts in many different ways. Using what they know about numbers, students will create various number sentences to equal the numbers 1 - 12 (those found on a clock) They will then layer all of their number sentences together to create one big "Math Clock" to display on a bulletin board!

All of the pieces you need to create the "Creativity" are included for you (except glue, scissors, and one brad fastener) There are step by step directions for putting the craft together...including pictures!

Included in this resource:

  • Operation brainstorm pages (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, parentheses, exponents, and generic for a combo of all)
  • Clock templates for all operations
  • Cover pieces to create the final product
  • Step by step directions to create the final piece, with pictures of how to do it!
  • Alternative display and instruction ideas for even more differentiation

This math creativity is perfect for the students who need remediation and practice with basic facts as well as the students who need higher order thinking and working with order of operations. It is very easy to get differentiation in, without the students knowing that you are doing so!

This classroom tested project is something I have used in my own classroom with great success. The students enjoyed putting their working knowledge of all different facts and operations together to create this fun math project.

Prep is easy and painless. Everything you need for a winning fact based math project is here! This is print and go!
