    Number of the Day Activity

    Description

For one price get all FOUR of my escape rooms, and more as I continue to add them! These activities are a great way to review fraction and mixed number operations, the order of operations, and customary and metric measurement conversions. These can be used with many grade levels but align with 4th-7th grade math standards. Included is:

    -Order of Operations Escape Room

-Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Fractions Escape Room

-Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing Mixed Numbers Escape Room

-Customary and Metric Measurement Measurement Conversions Escape Room

Each escape room includes three challenges that students must solve leading up to a final code that they can check with more clues. All are very low prep and come with answer keys. These could definitely be sent to students to do at home during distance learning, or used to home school.

As I mentioned, I will continue to add to this bundle. Every time I update it you will get another escape room for free!

I have also included my Number of the Day activity as a bonus. Enjoy! :)

Know relative sizes of measurement units within one system of units including km, m, cm; kg, g; lb, oz.; l, ml; hr, min, sec. Within a single system of measurement, express measurements in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Record measurement equivalents in a two-column table. For example, know that 1 ft is 12 times as long as 1 in. Express the length of a 4 ft snake as 48 in. Generate a conversion table for feet and inches listing the number pairs (1, 12), (2, 24), (3, 36),...
Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
Use parentheses, brackets, or braces in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with these symbols.
Write simple expressions that record calculations with numbers, and interpret numerical expressions without evaluating them. For example, express the calculation “add 8 and 7, then multiply by 2” as 2 × (8 + 7). Recognize that 3 × (18932 + 921) is three times as large as 18932 + 921, without having to calculate the indicated sum or product.
Understand addition and subtraction of fractions as joining and separating parts referring to the same whole.
