Depending on the age and stage of development of your students, you may want to keep all the pieces at first and put Mat Man together yourself as you sing the song for the first time. Then the next time you want to sing the song, give each student one piece of Mat Man before you begin and then they can put him together as the class sings the song. It’s a great way to learn about the parts of the body, working together and taking turns.
