What educators are saying

Turned out beautiful! It gave students an opportunity to contribute to our bulletin board as an enrichment to our study of MLK Jr.
My students loved working together to color and put this picture together! It looks so colorful and wonderful in our hallway!

Description

Martin Luther King Jr. Collaboration Poster.

Students will not forget this project! This project is a great way to get your whole class involved. Students will work together to create a beautiful poster to be hung in our classroom, school, or given to a special guest.

Product includes:

-Directions

-A normal coloring sheet that students can complete on their own.

-A key to assist you in putting the pages together.

-25 pages for the collaboration project (each page fits a regular sheet of copy paper)

-Each page has small coordinates written on the bottom right corner so you know how to glue the pages together.

Directions-

1. Print the document in Landscape format.

2. Teacher should trim margins using a paper cutter. The margins are marked with an ā€œLā€ shape in each corner. Be sure not to cut off the coordinate.

3. Show students the key so they have an idea of what they are creating.

4. Have each student color a piece of paper using crayons, markers, or colored pencils- the class can collaborate before as to which color they should color certain things.

5. Place the papers together in a grid to create a poster approximately 4 x 5 square foot. Coordinates are located in the bottom right hand corner to help with this (they are very small)

6. Connect the papers together by taping them on the back or by gluing them to a large piece of paper.

7. Students can color the single coloring sheet so they can take the project home as well.

Display and enjoy!
