  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Craft – Use the pictures as a guide! Copy directly on colored paper or make patterns. The craft can be displayed with the informational writing, opinion writing, or I have a dream… writing.

Language Arts Printables

  • Venn Diagram – Students compare Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to themselves.
  • Action Verb and Linking verb Sort – Students cut and paste verbs on a flap book.
  • Correct the Sentences – Students rewrite the sentences correctly. {quotation marks, commas in a series, commas between cities and states, capitalization, punctuation}
  • Fact or Opinion – Students cut and sort facts and opinions. The statements can be glued on the recording sheet or in an interactive notebook.
