Description

What is the tallest structure your classroom groups can make using holiday marshmallows and spaghetti noodles?

This is a school-wide monthly challenge activity that I have developed for my own building. Each classroom will receive the materials needed to complete the challenge and classrooms will post their results in a central location. The classroom that has the tallest free-standing structure using holiday marshmallows and spaghetti noodles wins a science goodie bag of items. Teachers are able to extend the activity if they choose!

I found the supplies at my grocery store and dollar store. You can also find them on-line.

This is a great way to get whole building involvement in science and STEM! We use this monthly challenge in DECEMBER!
