What educators are saying

Excellent resource! I love the information presented and it helped me be well equipped to lead our shark dissection well. Thanks :)
TOP NOTCH RESOURCE. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS WELL-ORGANIZED RESOUCE. I RECOMMEND WITHOUT RESERVATION.

Description

Product Description: If your marine science kids are preparing to dissect the shark, this is a really good resource to check out. Made for the mixed instructional classrooms during Covid, this is what I use now to lead yearly our whole group dissection of the dogfish and I love it! See preview for sure to really get to know this resource. Here's how this lesson could go:

  • Students complete the Google Form pre-dissection activity for HW, or in class
  • Teacher pairs kids up and prepares the room for the dissection (this is not included, unfortunately!)
  • Teacher uses the whole group presentation to walk the whole room through the dissection, circulating watching for safety issues / addressing questions, etc
  • Students clean up / dissection may go two days if possible or in shorter class periods
  • Students complete the post dissection handout either on paper or digitally
