Description
These pages on Mardi Gras explain the symbols and traditions of Mardi Gras. Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening activities are included to spark student interests in the festival. Links to Websites for Mardi Gras world, the mardi Gras website and a king cake bakery are included to add some authentic resources to your unit. Templets are included to make masks for Mardi Gras in your Class. This aligns well with the Ontario Core French curriculum culture component and can be used with my other pack on Le Carnaval de Nice to compare the two festivals for a grade 7/8 class.
