Description

This bundle has three March and St. Patrick's Day themed SMART Board Attendance Activities. Each activity comes with a direction page specific to the activity. There are two options for each attendance activity--a numbered page (if you assign students numbers) and a page where you can change student names.

Check out my individual listings for additional pictures for each activity.

"In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb"

What's that I hear? A lion ROAR-ing and a lamb BAA-ing? That means it must be March! Students select either the lion or the lamb depending on the March weather they prefer, and then move their selection to their number or name. Students then click on their animal of choice to hear it "ROAR" or "BAA." Listen for the giggles to follow!

"Top o' the Morning!"

It's your lucky day! This leprechaun is handing out gold! Students use this "rich with fun" attendance activity to indicate they are present at school. Students take the gold from the leprechaun and place it in their respective pots. This activity is sure to start you students' day off with lots of giggles and smiles!

"Shimmy Shimmy Shamrock Shake"

It's time to boogie down, shamrock style! Students make their shamrocks move and "dance" on this SMART Board attendance activity. The file has many moving objects, including a boy and girl leprechaun who will "dance" (spin) for several seconds when clicked. Students will then do the "shimmy shimmy shamrock shake" by clicking on their shamrock and making it "dance" (the shamrock will fade in and out for several seconds and then will disappear). This activity will really get rockin' when multiple shamrocks are "dancing" (fading in and out) at the same time!

*If you are concerned about students being able to reach the higher items on your SMART Board, consider having students use a pointer. This has worked great in my classroom!

*Thank you for taking the time to read about this activity! Even if this activity isn't right for you, I hope that you will consider following me! I am new to Teachers Pay Teachers, but have been using a SMART Board and making Notebook files for several years now. I am excited to be a part of the TpT community!
