What educators are saying

My students were very proud to show off their work to their fellow classmates at the end of this unit. It’s a great supplement to some of our other curriculum that we have that the district provided. The project was engaging and students really enjoyed it.
These collaborative artwork pieces are awesome! The students love participating and the outcome of all of their work together! Thanks!

Description

Malala Yousafzai Collaboration Poster: My collaboration posters are designed to complement or supplement any Malala Yousafzai lesson or Women’s History Unit.

This poster is the perfect anticipatory set to pique your students’ interest or a great extension to finish your studies with a WOW. Your students will be talking about this poster for weeks to come and will always remember exactly which piece was “theirs” when they see it on display!

This is a brand new style of poster that your students will never believe. When you look at the individual pages, it seems as though they couldn't possibly come together and make a portrait of Malala Yousafzai - but they do! Your kids will be amazed!

Quote Malala Coloring Page

Group collaboration posters are a lot of fun and leave a lasting impression. However, students don’t get to walk away with anything tangible to show their families. I’ve included a one page coloring page so that each student can have something to take home that will remind them of this poster project.

****Art integration for English Language Arts****

Art with Jenny K. and Brain Waves Instruction have teamed up to make integrating art into English Language Arts and the classroom easy for teachers and fun for kids. This project is designed to pair with 4th - 8th grade.

Brain Waves Instruction has created a full English Language Arts Unit to pair with my Malala Yousafzai Collaboration Poster. There is a free sample included in this purchase, so you can get started right away. You can see the full resource HERE.

Malala Yousafzai Collaboration poster 2nd color scheme

Recommended for grades 2 and above!

I’ve included the same poster with a second color scheme of pink and purple. You can always change the colors yourself, but please remember that the background must be the lighter of the two colors, or the final poster will look like the negative of a photograph - you don't want that!

Also, I have a large collection of other Collaborative Group Portrait Posters, including many that are appropriate for Women’s History studies, including:
