Making Play Count

A 72 page book linking mathematical learning intentions to play experiences in the early years. There are 25 complete plans including, set up, modelling and questioning as well as links to NQS, EYLF. Kindergarten Curriculum and Pre-Primary Syllabus of WA. These are divided into dramatic play, small world, sensory, construction and loose parts. An additional 5 pages are included with lists of play-based activities addressing number and algebra, measurement and geometry and statistics and probability. An index that provides a cross reference to the pre-primary outcomes is included so you can ensure you are really addressing all your requirements.
