What educators are saying

Great resource to use during whole class and small group instruction. The questions are on standard and worded in line with what my students will see in testing. Thank you.
I teach intervention. I used this with my 3-5th grade students. Chose to use it for my 4th grade observation because the question types are identical to how they'll see it on the test. Love love love!

Description

Students will make inferences and support them using text evidence in an informational text. This includes referring to details and quoting accurately from a text when drawing inferences and supporting them (RI.4.1/RI.5.1).

These reading comprehension worksheets have a mini-lesson on inferencing (or drawing conclusions) at the top, followed by a non-fiction passage and several questions. Tips are included next to some commonly asked inference questions to mentor students on how to best answer them. Use as test prep, or to teach and practice the fundamentals of making inferences-- a key reading comprehension skill.
