What educators are saying
Description
Get everything you need to successfully make applesauce with your students, and to incorporate math, reading and writing into the process, along with life skills! This resource includes extensive teacher directions including a planning sheet, easy to read student direction cards with pictures, a follow up graph, two follow up writing options, and directions for turning the process into a class experience book that your students will read over and again. Take your applesauce making to another level with this easy to use resource.
You will need apples, a cutting board, sharp knife and butter knives, peelers, crock pot or other safe cooking option, and I strongly recommend having at least one additional adult to help. I have done this activity successfully with children ages 3 - 8, but you must decide if it is right for your students.
This Applesauce cooking activity is also available in my Apple STEAM investigations. If you've purchased that, then you already own Applesauce Cooking. Don't have it yet? You could save big with bundle pricing! You can see all of my STEAM investigations here!
