What educators are saying

I used this resource in my AP Lit course as a compliment to my usual Macbeth materials and it worked out wonderfully.
I loved how this was organized and visually pleasing. The students seemed to enjoy it and it was a great way to give them information.

Description

Grab every eye in the room with this 32-slide Prezi & Google Slides presentation that provides all of the background information your class will need as you launch a study of William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, Macbeth.

The presentation includes a quickwrite topic that will help make Macbeth relevant to your students (10-15 minutes for writing and discussion). Then, launch into the 20-30 minute lecture slide deck which covers the time period and setting, profiles of important characters, an overview map, themes, foils, and historical background.
