What educators are saying

I have been giving my 8th grade students the comic before watching each Act and it's been a great way to build background knowledge and help students feel more comfortable with the Shakespearean English and the plot.
This resource helped my students understand the major events of each Act. They loved the illustrations and the plain language of the comics to fully understand the play.

Description

There will be no toil and trouble with teaching Macbeth with this set of comics and activities that are prophesied to make your study of the play great!

These comics and activities are the perfect way to get your students into Macbeth. Each act has a comic that gives an introduction to the major events of each act followed by an activity that introduces students to an important concept or literary device.

Students will become acquainted with Shakespeare's language, learn about figurative language, and study allusions using Robert Frost's "Out, out-," which features an allusion to Macbeth.

I designed these comics and lessons to make Shakespeare fun for kids and I hope your students will enjoy them.
