What educators are saying

Thanks for creating this great resource. This resource really did help my students. Thanks again for creating it!
My students really enjoyed using this resource to learn about fractions! It made the lesson fun and engaging. It's also no-prep which is very helpful!

Description

This activity is great for use during a lesson introducing fractions. The chart can help students understand where fractions come from, in addition to seeing the candies they are using to make the fractions.

I have used this resource as a whole-group lesson, or in a center once students are able to write fractions independently.

I usually use the small snack-size M&Ms for this activity. :) If you prefer using a candy rather than chocolate, check out my Skittles fraction activity!
