M&M Descriptive Statistics Activity 2.0 | AP Psychology

The M&M Statistics activity is almost any math and science teacher community favorite. When I tried it I just printed a shared worksheet and it went horribly in class! The worksheet was way too difficult and confusing for my students. I decided to give the activity a makeover (more visually appealing) and to just focus on what students need to know for the AP test. They only really need practice with mean, median, mode, and range. They also most likely need to know a frequency distribution chart. I made it my own and hope you can be the one that can just print and it is ready to use. The document is available in both color and black/white.

**You should use very small plastic cups for the M&M's (plenty for the activity). You can get about 15 mini cups with the Party Size bag of M&M's (about 9 dollars).
