What other teachers have said:

❤️ "I used this resource to review the non fiction features we've been talking about as well as to teach them about Martin Luther King Jr. We discussed the vocabulary as well that was part of completing the sentences. The kids enjoyed the activity and even came back the next day to tell me they were able to share the information with their parents. They used to book to practice reading to their parents as well." Angie M.

❤️ "This resource is a FANTASTIC way to cover multiple goals at once: my students learned about MLK while completing the cloze sentences, then had to determine the main idea of each chapter and match the chapter titles. I was thrilled to see them learning and working hard (they were so engaged!); to them, the best part was that they had "made a book" at the end of it!" Amanda K.
