Low Stress Speaking Assessment Checklists, Levels 1-4

These Speaking Assessment Checklists make it easy to assess students’ speaking while they are chatting with each other.  It’s the simplest way I’ve found to evaluate their speaking skills using ACTFL’s Proficiency Levels, in a way that’s easy for me and low stress for my students.

This product includes 4 checklists: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. They are not language specific and can be used to assess any language, with any age students.

This download includes a link to make a copy of the Assessment Checklists, so you can personalize them with your students' names and save it to your Google Drive. Also included are detailed instructions on using them in your classroom, an overview to Proficiency Based Grading and using ACTFL's Proficiency descriptors to calculate letter grades for your gradebook.
