Louisiana Purchase, Lewis and Clark, & Sacagawea

Teaching Westward Expansion and want to tie it into your reading standards?

This unit includes three detailed, kid-friendly passages- one about the Louisiana Purchase, one about Lewis and Clark, and one about Sacagawea- which can be used for close reading or informational purposes in Social Studies.

Comprehension Questions:

all three passages include cause and effect practice

a main idea activity for the Louisiana Purchase

a mapping/following directions activity for the Louisiana Purchase

a sequencing/summarizing activity for Lewis and Clark

a character trait with evidence activity for Sacagawea

Answer keys with suggested answers are included.

The unit is also provided in Google Slides so that it can be completed digitally.
