What educators are saying

This made a great end of the year bulletin board. The students enjoyed writing about their favorite memory.

Description

Reflect on all the memories that made this year great with this Looking Back writing activity bulletin board for the end of the school year. This set includes everything you need to do this writing activity and craft with your students and create a darling bulletin board for students to share their memories as a class.

And the best part? This is 2 resources in 1! Not only is this a meaningful activity to wrap up the end of the school year, but with just a couple of tweaks, it becomes the perfect way to welcome your new little students to all the exciting things that lie ahead for them in the upcoming year.

Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Teachers Guide
  • Polaroid Writing Activity templates, various sizes
  • Decorative borders and designs
  • Title designs "Looking Back at ____ Grade" and "Looking Forward to ____ Grade"
  • Title designs for grades K-6 in black & white and color
  • SVG file for using a cutting machine like Cricut or Silhouette

You’ll start by reminiscing with your current class at the end of the school year. Together the class will make a list of their favorite memories of the year. Then each student will get to choose one memory to use for this activity.

Give each student a polaroid photo frame to illustrate their memory. And if you wish, they can also do some writing about their memory as well!

Students will love reminiscing about all the great times they’ve had together this year and you’ll love how easy it is to pull this activity together. We’ve included everything you need!

This looks awesome displaying on a bulletin board, as a timeline, on your door, or in the hall outside your room.

BONUS! Want to use this bulletin board for back to school too? After the school year ends, swap out your “Looking Back at” title for the “Looking Forward to” title and you’ve got your back to school bulletin board ready to go before you even leave for summer break!

❤️ Your past students will love seeing that they still have a place in the story of your classroom at the start of next year.

✅ Your new students will love getting a glimpse at all the fun they have to look forward to with you as their new teacher!
