Description
LOGARITHM WAR provides practice recognizing the value of logs.
This fun game (played like the card game, "WAR") can be used in an educational setting.
Students flip over their cards at the same time and compare the values represented on the cards. The player with the greatest value wins all cards. “War” happens when the cards show equivalent values.
The student who has the most cards at the end of the game wins!
There are a total of 48 cards.

EXPONENTIAL WAR
This game is ideal for partners, small groups and math centers.
Other ideas:
Three cards can be used for a quick warm-up. Display three cards and ask for the value.
Display a set of random cards and ask students to put them in order (least to greatest).
Use for a game of matching. Choose pairs of cards that are equal and spread them face down on a desk. Students take turns revealing a pair of cards at a time and “capture” the matched pairs.
