Description

A glyph is a pictorial representation of data. These clever worksheets ask students to color each object or portion of the picture based on what they hear. This gingerbread glyph is a sample of a larger set of listening glyphs that you can find here: Listening Glyphs for Listening To and Analyze Music
.

The glyphs are so versatile that they can work with virtually any listening piece! Some of the concepts covered: loud/soft, fast/slow, steady beat/no steady beat, lullaby, march, smooth/separated, mood and more!

I recommend use with Kindergarten through 3rd grades. Kindergarteners and first graders will need assistance to complete, but 2nd and 3rd graders do well with less guidance.
