    Description

    Listening comprehension is not an easy skill to teach. Use these resources to help guide your students with how to answer listening questions. This bundle includes a 6 weeks of warm-ups, 5 longer audio practices, and two seasonal freebies. As a large part of most standardized tests, students need to be comfortable and confident when it comes to listening to and comprehending information. This resource is perfect for grades 6-8. It is also useful when it comes to preparing for state standardized tests.

    Listening Daily Warm-up Volume 1 + 2:

    This 30-Second Daily Listening Warm-up set includes 12 weeks of daily warm-ups to help your students strengthen their listening skills. Each day they will listen to a new 30-second audio and practice answering three multiple choice questions.

    The topics for each day are engaging and range from video games to crazy news stories. Each day students will answer a different set of questions practicing listening comprehension, main idea, inferencing, and context clue vocabulary.

    Listening Comprehension NPR Unit Volume 1:

This is a no-prep unit with links for the audio embedded into the digital slides. Work with students on listening to the audio and answering questions or have them work independently.
