What educators are saying

This was a perfect resource to use when I was out sick. Students were able to watch a movie that they were familiar with and apply new concepts to it.
My students loved using this resource. It's a quick way to assess each student and give quick feedback.

Description

I like to end my Ecology unit in 7th grade science with the movie The Lion King. This worksheet is a great sumary of many of the topics we study in the unit as they are used/highlighted in the movie. Often I even use this worksheet as one of their final tests!

The questions sum up many Ecology concepts and are completely answerable if the students have been paying attention during the unit-most even without watching the movie.

topics: abiotic/ biotic factors, food webs/ chains, population, community, limiting factors, competition, types of consumers, decomposition, carrying capacity, and behavioral and structural adaptations.
