What educators are saying

I love digital escape rooms and so do our students. While this was a GREAT review of graphing, there were a few challenges. It was difficult for some of our students to maneuver, but we still had so much fun!
My students and I both loved this escape room! Students worked together and were very engaged and highly motivated to escape. Such a fun way to end our graphing unit!

They are challenged to solve puzzles to find clues and codes. This breakout has 4 codes to break. Escape rooms are fun and engaging for students and they LOVE them!

This escape room is meant to be challenging and should take your students 45 minutes to an hour to complete, depending on their ability levels.

Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots. For example, from a line plot find and interpret the difference in length between the longest and shortest specimens in an insect collection.
