Description
Light the Tree! A Vowel Sounds Center and Printable Worksheets
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Have your students match the short and long vowel sounds pictures and place them on the matching Christmas tree! Super low-prep and differentiate as needed for your kiddos!
There are 6 printable worksheet activities included:
-Vowel Sound Sort {Cut and Paste}- 2 pages of short vowels and 2 pages of long vowels
-Spin & Color a Vowel (short and long vowels)
Directions for the Light the Tree Center Activity
-Print and laminate all the Christmas tree sheets.
-Print, laminate, and cut out the Christmas tree lights. Put them in a sandwich bag or a festive pail (like from the Target Dollar Spot!)
-Have students sort the pictures on the Christmas tree lights picking a light and saying the word.
-Place the light bulb on the tree that matches the vowel sound.
-Differentiate by only putting out short vowel sounds or long vowel sounds pictures.
