This is a fun activity to do with your class near the end of your poetry unit. It is very similar to blackout poetry, but this time students LIGHT UP the words they want to use and things get BRIGHT!

Light Up poetry was one of the most magical moments I shared with students! Their reactions were PRICELESS! If you are looking to shake things up a bit and increase the wow factor of your poetry unit, this is a must try!
