What educators are saying

I use this resource with an older student I work with in their home for extra skills practice. This has been a great resource to work on functional skills.
This is a good substitute for being able to take my students to the store to learn various shopping related skills. Hopefully once we are able to do a field trip to the store some of the skills learned will transfer to the real life task.

Students need to look at their shopping list, and find the groceries. Once they have found the groceries, they put them into their shopping cart. There are also boxes next to each item on the shopping lists for students to check off when they have that item.

The shopping lists in this task box activity come in the follow levels;

There are 18 different shopping lists included in this task box activity.

Instructions

  • Print the shopping carts, shopping lists and groceries.
  • Cut out and laminate all of the individual pieces.
  • Lay these out for your students to access.
  • Students have to look at their shopping list, find the matching groceries and put them into their shopping cart.
