Designed for older students who are receiving life skills education and need to increase their functional vocabulary. This slide show is great for Special Education/Speech therapy through grade 12-Adult.

There are 2 levels and 40 activity slides. Each level has 20 cards. Because of the length, it may be best to complete this activity over 2 different sessions to avoid fatigue and allow for reinforcement.
Level 1 (orange background): 20 Vocabulary identification cards with the prompt "Find the..." and 4 picture multiple-choice options that students can click to answer the question.
Level 2 (blue background): 20 Answering questions cards with 3 picture and word multiple-choice options. Example question - "What do you use to pick up something hot?" (Kitchen tongs).
How to use: This product can be used as an interactive slide show either presented on the smartboard or projector to a group or completed 1:1. This slide show can be printed 2 per page and used as task cards.
Technical: This activity can be used by opening on a computer or chromebook using Google Slides. If you are using Google Classroom you can post this as an assignment and select “make a copy for each student” to assign for independent learning. Alternatively, you can print task cards by going to file > print settings and preview > Handout 2 slide per page > portrait > print
