Description
All About Life Cycles is a Science unit designed to introduce life cycles to students in grades 2-4. This unit includes an overview about life cycles, metamorphosis, and heredity, and 8 individual life cycles!
This unit introduces one life cycle for each main classification of living thing (plant, mammal, fish, insect (complete and incomplete metamorphosis), bird, and amphibian).
Each topic has a special foldable informational booklet. Each booklet has a special pocket that can be used to hold the booklet inside a science notebook. The unit also includes 4 other interactive notebook/worksheet activities for students about overall life cycle concepts.
The three special booklet topics included are:
-Life Cycle (an overview of what a life cycle is)
-Metamorphosis
-What is Heredity?
Each individual life cycle includes an informational booklet, a sequence cut and label worksheet, a black and white life cycle poster and a color life cycle poster.
The animal life cycles included in this set are:
-Butterfly
