Description

This resource includes activities that match Ohio Learning Standards. The six living things included are chickens, frogs, plants, pumpkins, ladybugs, and butterflies. There are activities that focus on lifecycles, traits of different species and comparison activities for a species and their offspring.

The following activities are included:

  • Passages for each animal or plant life cycle with comprehension questions, posters, and an opportunity for students to put a life cycle in order.
  • Passages for each animal or plant that includes information with different species, as well as a recording sheet.
  • Venn Diagrams for comparing a species to its offspring
