Printable & Digital Map Directions: The map assignment requires students to label and color-code major river systems, mountains, landmarks, and other aspects relating to Lewis and Clark’s expedition.

Printable & Digital Black Outline Map: In order to complete their map according to the directions, students will need access to the included reference map showing Lewis and Clark’s journey, major landforms, and the Louisiana Purchase. Projecting a completed map is another option.

Printable & Digital Reference Map: A full-color reference map is included for students to use as they complete their Lewis and Clark journey maps. Projecting the map for all students to view at the same time works well.

Printable & Digital Task Cards: 12 expedition task cards are included for students to arrange in chronological order. Each task card includes the year, a short description of the event, and a picture. An optional task cards extension activity idea is also included.
