What educators are saying

This is a first year for me teaching ESL students. I feel this is a very important tool for the teacher to communicate as much as for the student to connect their learning.
I love all the options of card sizes! I place the smaller cards, in my student's book bags to help them practice their letters and sounds.

Description

Letterland, Letterland, there is no better land! If you have this stuck in your head and you teach early learners, this is the packet for you!

This is a supplement to use with the Letterland Phonics Program. This will not be helpful if you do not use the Letterland Phonics Program and may actually confuse some learners.

All of the different sized Letterland Cards need to be printed in color using white cardstock.

The first two groups of cards I use for my whole group classroom. I print out and laminate and cut closely or apart (for the second group.)

The largest size I usually tape over my white board or the center of my room. I can refer to these cards as I am doing my whole group lesson. Students should be able to view these from their seats so they can refer to at all times.

The second group of cards is the perfect size for me to attach behind my small group station or wherever students will be seated so they can easily be viewed and the teacher can refer to also.

Next are the cards that I use for small groups or individual students when I am specifically targeting a letter or sound. These are the perfect size for sorting and having students recognize the letter and the character. I have had many children who have had to say the character name and then say the letter. After time and practice they will automatically say the letter without using the character. There are two sizes of these cards.

I also included the following sizes:

• Poster - Print, attach pages and laminate

• Cards - Print, laminate, and cut out. Small Group or Center Cards

• One Page of Cards - use as needed. Put in a page protector and have students find the letters you are focusing on for that week. Laminate and use as a reference.

• Desk or Center Alphabet Strips - Print, Cut Apart, and Laminate.

Have fun using these cards and email me if you need anything else.

In the preview so you can see exactly what you will receive. Again, you must have the Letterland Program to use this packet. Thanks so much for shopping with me.
