Letter to Santa in Spanish: Cartas de Navidad- 4 Days of Lessons

Have your students write a letter to Santa Claus or the Three Kings in Spanish!

This 4-day unit is specifically designed for middle school heritage speaker students.

In this unit students will:

• reflect on their beliefs about Santa Claus, the Three Kings, and what they want for Christmas.
• identify and correct errors in sentences.
• use a rubric to guide their writing process.
• use a mentor text (example letter) to write their own persuasive letter to Santa Claus or the Three Kings. 
• revise their letter using the unit-assigned rubric and checklist.
• properly address an envelope to Santa or The Three Kings.
