Description

This argumentative letter to Santa is a fun way to have students practice the skills needed for argumentative writing. This holiday writing activity contains two scaffolded writing templates that make it easy for teachers and students to write a full five paragraph argumentative essay. In fact, the activity can even be used as an introduction to argumentative writing since the writing templates, with sentence starters, make it easy for students to develop a claim and arguments.
