Description

Looking for a fun way to help your kindergarten and first grade students learn letters sounds in a fun and engaging way? This packet contains short, simple songs and activities to help you teach the sounds of each letter of the alphabet. All songs are sung to the familiar tune of “Skip to My Lou”. We have provided easy-peasy directions, photos to show final product, and materials needed to make a class song book. Your students will love it and will be singing their little hearts out!

Here is what the packet includes:

To make the BIG book and/ or smaller book version we have provided:

-a song sheet for each letter of the alphabet. Two (2) song sheets for each vowel (short and long)

-picture and letter cards in color for each song

- set of printables from A-Z (2 sheets for vowel: short and long sound). All the printables are in a “cut and paste” format, where the students have a group of pictures and they must cut and glue the pictures that correspond with the letter sound inside the big letter. Each printable includes the song.

*****Please note that when singing these songs you say the ‘letter sound’ NOT the ‘letter name’ each time the letter appears.

We hope you like singing along with this book as much as our kinders do!
