Just like the "Narrative Organizer" and "Literary Analysis Organizer" on my TPT, I have my "Letter: Persuasive Organizer" that helps the students organize their thoughts about their persuasive topic. I use this to help them structure their persuasive letter to their choosing. This can also be used for general persuasive writing. I then use the R.A.C.E.S method to have them develop their body paragraphs.

Here is what R.A.C.E.S stands for:

R: Restate the Question

A: Answer the question

C: Cite your evidence

E: Explain your evidence

S: Summarize your thoughts and reasoning

This is a well established strategy used my many teachers before me. I have just used it in my writing process to help them pull from their resources. This strategy is originally used for constructed writing responses. This is great for any future essay writer! This product is editable!

This organizer has the "Counterclaim" and "Call to Action" embedded into the packet.
