    If you need to bring some fun to your letter I review or simply looking for something entertaining yet educational, this bundle is worth looking at. With eight different games, each requiring a range of reading and speaking skills. 17 short I words and 17 long I words are featured and each game is created to get the whole class involved.

    Letter I Phonics Review - What's Outside the Train Window Game:

    Bring some fun to your phonics review lessons with this letter I review game. Set inside a train, there are a mix of questions to practice 16 key words. One difference with this game is the question will come after the words have appeared so students have to pay attention to everything they see. Questions go from easy to difficult. Your kids will enjoy reviewing without knowing they even are!

    • 11 rounds - short and long I
    • After the first page, there is a quick intro to the game. After this the first train sequence will begin. There will be some winter scene outside along with seven letter I words. This is automated and will move onto the question page automatically.
    • On the question page you will have four options, choose the select button for the right answer. If you wish to watch the animation again, you can click the back button. After the correct answer has flashed, press next and the next train animation will start. Questions vary in difficulty so you may need to play the animation more than once.
    • Arrows are available on pages that need it to move forward or back.
    • Short I words: lip, bid, fin, dig, kid, hid, win, pin.
    • Long I words: pie, knight, iron, fry, pilot, pipe, light, ice.
    • Picture style: clipart

    Short I Phonics Review - Four Mini Games:

    The variety included in this four mini game powerpoint will keep the entire class happy. With clue questions, picture prompts, unscrambling words and more, this is an extensive review of short I phonics words at the pace you want to go at. There are opportunities for team work or to work as individuals. Plenty of reading practice and your kids are sure to enjoy themselves at the same time.

    • 4 games
    • Arrow in top-right to advance through each slide.
    • Game 1 - What is the Word? Clue will appear automatically and students need to guess the word. Press the card on the top of the pile to show the answer (5 questions)
    • Game 2 - Unscramble. The clue and letters slowly appear giving students some time to write or say their answers before all the letters appear. Again press the card on the top for the answer. (5 questions)
    • Game 3 - 4 Choices. Two kinds of question in this game - word prompt and clue prompt. In the word prompt you have to select the correct answer for the word provided. Clue prompt you will need to select the correct word.
    • Game 4 - True or False. A statement will appear automatically. Decide if it is true or false.

    Short I Phonics Review - Bowling:

    Who doesn't love a friendly game of bowling? Bring bowling to the classroom with this epic short I phonics bowling game. With thirteen rounds, four different bowling animations, plenty of time spent on 16 key short I words, give it a try today. Each word used at least three times giving plenty of time to review for the whole class. Question slides and game slides are separate so students will focus completely on the question.

    • 13 rounds
    • After the first page, the first question appears. Click the number next to the answer you think is correct for the clue at the top. Depending on the answer will lead to one of four animations. Two are gutter balls (for incorrect answers), one will hit one pin (for incorrect answer) and one will be a strike (for correct answer).
    • After the animation, there will be a next with an arrow if you are correct - press the arrow to go to the next question. Or a return arrow if you are incorrect - press the arrow to try the question again. Any answers already tempted will have their numbers hidden.

    Short I Phonics Review - Find the Ball:

    In this entertaining and interactive game, you will have the opportunity to practice reading regularly used core short I words while having fun at the same time. With 16 words in total, most of them used at least four times throughout, it is a good opportunity for all students to participate.

    • 16 slides
    • The game is easy to use. After the front screen the first game screen will appear. Press the tent in the bottom-left to show the students where the ball is. Once you are ready, press the tent again and the cups will start to move. Students say the word for where they think the ball is at now. Press the arrow button to move onto the next game.
    • 3 stages - 3 cups, 4 cups, 5 cups

    Long I Phonics Review - Three Quiz Show Style Games:

    These three quiz show games will give you the perfect opportunity to practice key long I vocabulary and practice the long I sound. With a mix of reading and picture related questions, this will give each student amply opportunity to practice.

    • 27 Slides.
    • Three games.
    • After the titles and information about the game, the first game will begin. Students will be shown a close-up photo of an object and have to guess what it is. Press the = button for the answer and the original photo with word will appear. Press the arrow button to move onto the next question. 6 questions in total.
    • Second game is a memory game. Starting with three pictures and ending up with six, students have ten seconds to observe the pictures on the screen, then need to say the words they remember. The picture page will automatically move on after ten seconds but if you wish to move on yourself quicker then there is an arrow button. In the answer screen, answers will flash if correct, dim if incorrect.
    • Finally game is more like a question and answer, but in two parts. In the part, there will be a clue and 3-6 words to choose from. Press the correct answer. In the second section you will get the reverse, one word and then two to three clues to choose from. Choose the correct clue for the word. Includes arrows to move onto the next page.

    Long I Phonics Review - Three Games:

    This mix of long I phonics games will give students a perfect way to practice key long I words. With a range of questions and different kinds of pictures, each student will have the chance to practice reading and recognizing 17 long I words.

    • 22 Slides.
    • Three games.
    • In the first game, one picture will slowly appear (20 seconds long). Press the cookie in the bottom-left to begin, press again to reveal the answer. Press the arrow in the bottom-right to change to the next page. There are 9 questions in total
    • Second game is similar but there will be two pictures appearing at the same time. Press the donut in the bottom-left to begin. The pictures will appear on the clock, press the pink clock button next to the picture that corresponds to the word at the top. Wrong answer will buzz, correct answer will make a noise and both pictures will be fully revealed. Press arrow in the bottom-right to change page. 4 questions in total.
    • Last game will review the words from the previous game. Word is at the top, four pictures below, choose the correct picture for the word. Incorrect answers will dim out, correct answer will flash. Again, arrow in the bottom-right for the next question. 8 questions in total.

    Long I MemWord Phonics Review Game:

    This game is a great way to practice long I and gives the teacher complete control over the difficulty and game time. With ample time to review each picture, the speed of the game will offer a different kind of challenge. Each student will be able to practice the 17 words and most are repeated more than once throughout.

    • 6 Slides.
    • 50 variations (rounds).
    • Practice Long A
    • First you have time to review - if necessary.
    • Press the arrow for the letters to drop down.
    • 10 letters with numbers (number of words in the sequence) appear at the top.
    • Pressing any of these will start a sequence (pictures flashing) that upon finishing, students must repeat.
    • Starts from A (easy) and ends in J (hard).
    • 5 stages starting from 4 pictures and ending in 7.
    • Press the arrow in the bottom right corner to go onto the next round.

    Long I Review Game - Hidden Pictures

    A simple yet effective way to practice saying key long I vocabulary. There is a variety of ways to get all students involved either in a team format, one-by-one or just a classroom free-for-all! There is real focus on each word as students wait patiently for more squares to disappear.
