Description
This is the Day 1-5 Bundle. I call it "Perspective Drawing Boot Camp". It's a five class period step-by-step intensive study of interior space in order to get high school students caught up to speed on two point perspective, many of whom have never studied it before. It concludes with a two week "Extreme Makeover Dream Room" project. This is the entire bundle of lessons, Day 1: Items on walls and floor;
Day 2: Openings in the walls and floor; Day 3: Furniture; Day 4: Lettering; Day 5: Practice by selecting from a list of items (U-Pick) and begin Two Week Final “Extreme Makeover Dream Room” Project.
Included in this Download:
Day 1: Definitions Teacher and Student (pdf), Warm Up (.pptx), Items on walls and floor (.pptx), Ellipses on Ceiling and Floor (.pptx) and the Boot Camp Handout (.pdf).
Day 2: Openings in walls, floor and ceiling .pptx, How to Draw Stairs .pptx, and the Boot Camp Handout.
Day 3: How to Draw a Table.pptx, How to Draw a Chair.pptx, How to Draw a Couch.pptx, How to Draw a Ceiling Fan.pptx, How to Draw Shelves.pptx, and the Boot Camp Handout.
Day 4: LIVE LIFE.pptx, SOAP SUDS.pptx, and the Boot Camp Handout. ("Live Life" contains angular letters while "Soap Suds" contains curved lettering).
Day 5: U-Pick Perspective Items (.docx), Boot Camp Handout (.pdf), Final Project Steps (.pptx), Two-Point Perspective Final Drawing Requirements (.docx), Teacher Notes (.docx).
Students will need a pencil, eraser, ruler and a print-out of the Boot Camp Handout.
For the Final Project, students will need the above, plus long poster board straightedge, ink pen, colored pencils, 12" X 18" paper.
The Final Project Topic is "Extreme Makeover - Room Edition" where students design their dream room using their Boot Camp lessons as a starting point.
