Introduce your primary French Immersion students to "les formes en 2D" with this fun French Emergent Reader.
The book follows the pattern: "Au début, c'était____, Maintenant, c'est ______" and helps students make connections between 2D shapes and real-world examples.
What's included in this resource?
- Big Book (in colour and black and white) - You can laminate and bind the pages to make and share the story. I like to add the book our class library.
- Half Page Version of the book with full text and images - Students can use this to take home, as a colouring book or booklet for their own personal book boxes.
- Half Page Version of the book with cut and paste pictures to recreate the book. Students need to read the text and glue the objects to the correct page. Alternatively, students can draw their own pictures. A shape to trace has also been provided.
- Class Book Activity - includes colour and black and white title page as well as writing paper. Each student can choose a shape and create their own version of the book.
Complete instructions are included with the resource!
