This version is the direct translation of Legends of Latin America to Question and Inference published in English. From the Amazon publication: Legends of Latin America in English & Spanish: A Workbook of Stories to Question and Inference. It contains 12 legends told across Mexico, Central America, and all the way south to Argentina. Each legend includes a 1-page story, a page of open-ended “wh” questions, and another page in which students will draw in detail what they imagine in the story. Students are expected to define vocabulary words, look at maps to answer questions, and search google to confirm responses.

- The Encantado Dolphin/El Delfín Encantado (Brazil)

- Chupacabras (Puerto Rico)

- The Bad Light/La Luz Mala (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay)

- The Chaneques and Cipitios/Los Chaneques y Cipitios (El Salvador & Mexico)

- The Children of Llullaillaco/Las Niñas de Llullaillaco (Chile & Argentina)

- Sirens of the Amazon/Las Sirenas de la Amazona (Brazil)
