Description

This interactive Google Slides activity is a great way for students to learn about themselves and how best to help them study smarter. Part of the Slides presentation is lecture based where you can discuss the main concepts with your students. Part of it is self discovery / self reflection. For example, one slide asks students to leave the presentation to take the VARK (visual, auditory, reading/writing, kinesthetic) quiz and post their results in their own copy of the slideshow. Another slide asks students to reflect on whether their results surprised them. The last slide is an exit ticket in case you are interested in gathering information about how many visual vs. auditory vs. reading/writing vs. kinesthetic learners you have in your classroom.

This Slides activity was created and compiled using some original sources. Both links are listed in the slide show but I've also got them listed below. Everything else was created by me. (^_^)/
