    Description

In this Learning Manners Social Skills Behavior Story Bundle you will get the following Stories:

    1. Rusty the Greyhound: Saying Thank You and Having Good Manners! - Social Skills Behavior Story - SEL
Birthday parties are exciting! And although the gifts might feel like the best part, it’s important that we thank our friends for coming to our birthday party and bringing us a gift. Rusty’s mom reminds him that, even when he doesn’t like the gift, it’s important to say ‘thank you’. If he doesn't, his friends might not come to his next party, and that would be no fun at all.
    2. Rusty Learned to Use an Inside / Outside Voice - Social Skills Behavior Story - SEL
The choice between using an inside voice or an outside voice can affect the entire classroom. Rusty upsets his friends' ears when he uses his outside voice during a lesson. His teacher tells him that when they’re inside it’s important to speak like a mouse - now the next time Rusty wants to speak, he knows which voice to use!
    3. Rusty the Greyhound: Apologizing, taking responsibility, empathy - Social Skills Behavior Story - SEL
It can be hard to admit when we’ve done something wrong. Rusty breaks Polar’s toy by accident but doesn’t want to own up to it. Polar is not only sad that his toy is broken but also because he doesn’t know who broke it. Rusty sees how upset his friend is and decides to tell the truth, and although Polar is still upset, now they get to choose another toy to play with!
    4. Learning to say thank you at Christmas - Social Skills Behavior Story - SEL
It’s Christmas Eve! And as per tradition, Rusty’s family are settling down to exchange gifts. The only problem is that Rusty never says “thank you” for his gifts, and this makes his family feel a little bit unappreciated. This year, Rusty experiences how it feels to give a gift and not receive a “thank you” in return - he gets upset and learns the importance of saying “thank you” to people! So this Christmas, to show his appreciation, Rusty writes a thank you letter to Santa!
    5. Learning to appreciate - a Chanukah Social Skills Behavior Story - SEL
Rusty was very excited for his Chanukah Gifts. This made his mom sad since Chanukah was about more than just gifts. His mom would talk to him about the true meaning of Chanukah. By the 8th night, he learned the true meaning of Chanukah and started to appreciate what he has. Students will enjoy the colorful pictures while watching Rusty learn good choices and do the right thing.

This will be a growing bundle. As I create more stories about Learning Manners, I will add them to this bundle, and the cost will go up. If you buy now you will get any new stories for free! All you have to do is re-download it. I will not guarantee how often I add stories since I create them as my students need a particular story. I will post when a new story is added to my social media sites: www.RustyTheGreyhound.com, and I will send a message on TpT.

Now With Comprehension Questions and Boom Card Learning Included!

As your students read or are read the story, there will be questions for them to answer. These questions will help to reinforce the concept that is being taught.

You will get two versions of the story. One version will be the story; the other will have the comprehension questions as you are reading the story.

The Adventures of Rusty the Greyhound are a series of Behavior Stories to help your students learn to make good choices. These simple stories show Rusty in different situations and strategies he used to make a good choice. Rusty's problems in these behavior stories are the same problems that your students will face every day. Your students can learn from Rusty the Greyhound Behavior Stories to make better choices in the future!
