Description

*This purchase comes with digital activities for you to edit to use with Google Classroom.* (Paperless activities for students to use from their tablets or computers.)

This purchase consists of two activity sheets (worksheets) that are riddles (jokes) about Leap Year Day. They look almost identical for those who have students with wandering eyes or to go over as practice and independent practice.

Students are to solve order of operation problems. These problems have the exact order of numbers with exponents within the problems in different places for each problem. There are a few negatives. All exponents are the power of 2. When the student finds the correct answer, he/she will write that answers letter in the answer box at the bottom of the page. When finished, the answer to the riddle (stated at the top of the page) should appear.

All of these are created by me and you will possibly find errors since I have not given this to students yet. If you do, please contact me. I will correct it and send you a link for the corrected copy.

I think that these are worthwhile fun activities for February 29 or for Leap Year Day. I hope that you enjoy them. You may make copies for YOUR classroom this year and in years to come, but you may not share this product with others. My version of "Leap Day-Order of Operations" is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International License.

These are the same riddles (jokes as "Leap Day-Solving Algebraic Equations", which obviously have different math problems. All of my "Leap Day" (with matching cover sheets) contain the same riddles. This is helpful for home school and multi-level classes.

Thank you for your purchase. I hope that you and your students enjoy this activity.
