Description
The LEADERSHIP PROFILE RESEARCH PROJECT has students research a prominent US leader and presentation of some kind to summarize the important information. Students can choose between an iMovie, podcast, slide presentation, essay, or poster. No matter which modality they choose, all students will research the leader’s biographical background, impact on history, character traits, leadership style, and then give a personal reflection. This resource can be used digitally (Google Docs & Slides templates that students can edit) or it can be printed off for students to fill in by hand. 2 examples are included to give students direction; blank templates are also included that can be shared with all students or just those in special populations that may need extra support. Once the class is finished researching their leader, they will complete a gallery walk to view each others’ posters and find out about the other leaders! This is a no-prep product; just post or print and go! It would be perfect for independent research, distance learning, or sub plans. This also makes a great bulletin board once all students are finished. Just print, mount on construction paper, and post for a nice looking, informative, student created visual.

This product is part of a Leadership Bundle that includes a great introduction lesson to this project. First, start with the NAME THAT LEADER GAME which is a *freebie*! Then have students complete the Leadership Styles Investigation assignment. Students will work independently to learn about the 3 most common leadership styles (autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire) and determine the pros and cons of each. They then use this information to analyze the leadership styles of the adults in their lives, and finally to reflect on their own leadership style. This comes with both print and digital versions and is a no-prep, ready to print/post lesson that is great for distance learning or for a sub. Save 15% when you buy them together in the BUNDLE.
