Description

This set of 10 slides is to be used independently by students or as a presentation by the teacher. There is one slide at the end that contains five comprehension questions. These slides have photos taken by myself and two other teacher friends from our travels around the state. Your students will learn about the lead rush and lead mining in Wisconsin. I have assigned these in Google Classroom for my students to work through independently. The pdf you'll download has directions to do this in addition to a picture link that will create a copy of the slides for you to save in your Drive. The second set of slides is modified for readers who may have an IEP. A word search is included because, come on, who doesn’t love those!?

In addition, check out mySkunk and Badger Read Aloud Google Slides. This book and slides are a great science connection for Wisconsin students! See the Preview for more details on this product. I also have a set of slides for an Introduction to Wisconsin Land Regions.
